Habitat Welcomes Cully Neighborhood Revitalization Manager

 

Taren Evans

Taren Evans is Habitat’s new Neighborhood Revitalization Manager working in the Cully Neighborhood. She will oversee the Home Repair Program, including outreach to potential homeowners, selection of qualified projects and program evaluation and design. Taren comes to Habitat from the City of Portland’s Bureau of Planning & Sustainability, where she has been responsible for creating a tool that incorporates equity concerns into the City’s Climate Action Plan.  She holds a Masters of Urban and Regional Planning from Portland State University and a B.A. in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland. In her new position Taren works closely with Living Cully staff to implement anti-displacement strategies, leverage partnerships with neighborhood organizations and manage Habitat’s program’s in Cully.  Welcome Taren!
