NAYA Family Center- together with EnHabit, the Portland Housing Bureau, and its Layered Service Partners- is supporting neighborhood stabilization and offsetting the pressures of gentrification in Cully and other at risk neighborhoods in east Portland. The goal of the Cully Weatherization 2.0 Pilot Project is to provide weatherization, energy efficiency and home repair services to 20 low-income owner occupied houses in the Cully neighborhood. To learn more about the program: contact Eron Riddle at NAYA eronr@nayapdx.org

Cully Neighborhood Revitilization Initiative
The Home Repair and Preservation Program helps low-income homeowners located in Cully, Habitat’s current Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative (NRI) focus neighborhood, restore and maintain their homes. Habitat partners with homeowners to alleviate critical health and safety issues and complete needed home improvement projects. This program is part of the Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative’s long-term commitment to revitalizing Cully in partnership with residents and Living Cully nonprofit partners. Leaky roof? Verde and Habitat for Humanity partner on this project to bring green assets and stormwater amenities to low-income homeowners in Cully by building rain gardens! Help divert water run-off from your roof into a rain garden of native plants that can help filter water and keep your yard from flooding. Last year Verde’s landscape crew installed 5 raingardens for low-income homeoners in Cully.
